Weaving

The Giant weaving workshop leaves you with a very impressive piece of art for your school or venue. The participants can create a unique weaving by decorating their own paper or fabric sections using a variety of print and rubbing techniques. The wooden frame is suitable to hang or mount but is recommended for indoor display.

Frames can be made to fit a specific area but are usually one metre square, the wood can be painted or varnished a colour of your choice. The techniques used in this workshop can be linked to the textiles, history and geography curriculum.
