Modrock

Modrock is a quick drying plaster of paris fabric strip. It is ideal for sculpture work in schools because it drys quickly and is ready to paint in hours. The examples shown below were Giagometti inspired sculptures. The participants worked in pairs to create a wire frame body and then completed the piece using modrock strips.

This residancie was part of an arts week for a school in North London, the theme was "The Human Figure".
